Artist Statement

Painting object drawings and machine has given a new way and dimension to explore my artistic views. My work deals with an interaction between two distinct objects in which I try to establish a minimalist approach. I try to give emphasis on objects which are parts of machines or mechanical form. I find it interesting to capture those forms through my creative process. This creative process also includes movements and motions which establishes similarity to human emotions. My interest in animation makes it possible to make these mechanical forms more flexible. I use various layers of color with the help of different textures which help me to establish an act between the forms different elements of movies like uses of light cinematography, make up, and various visual elements play an important role while executing my work. I try to capture a freeze moment of the whole act which is going between two objects. Partially cut objects are shown in my paintings to give a feeling that they are not only painted on canvas but also the whole surrounding is a part of it.
